About Kestrel Hub
An independent information centre about Britain's mobile networks — and an equally plain statement of everything it is not.
What this hub is
Kestrel Hub researches and publishes plain-English information about the UK mobile sector: how the networks compare, how the regulated processes — switching, complaints, roaming — actually work, and how to keep accounts safe from fraud. A standard-rate helpline exists for people who prefer talking a general process through with a person.
What this hub is not
Do you sell SIMs, contracts or phones?
No. Nothing on this hub is for sale, and no operator pays us commissions, sponsorship or referral fees.
Can you access or change my network account?
No — we have no ability to view or modify any network account, and we take no payments, card details, banking information or one-time passcodes, ever.
Why don't you publish prices?
Network prices change monthly; an out-of-date figure misleads more than it helps. We explain fee structures and point at the only current sources — official network sites, apps, and Ofcom.
How do you keep information accurate?
Each page carries its review date, time-sensitive claims point at official verification sources, and errors reported to the helpline are corrected.
Want to talk it through?
Our helpline answers general questions about anything in this hub — switching, coverage, complaints, staying safe. We can't open accounts, take payments, or act for any network.
